One of our favorite breakfast places in Carlsbad Village. We enjoy the outdoor ambiance, especially during the summer. Friendly staff, delicious dishes, and a nice adult beverage menu. Update 2/20/25 Enjoyed a morning off from work. Knowing they wouldn't be a crowded as the weekend, I took the opportunity to introduce a friend to this gem. We had enjoyed a delicious breakfast on this beautiful day. Ashley provided excellent service!

This is my go to brunch spot . They even have dog menus which are really reasonably priced . I’ve tried almost everything on their menu and have enjoyed it all. Their coffee and boozy drinks are delicious . The staff will make sure you do not walk away hungry or unsatisfied.

This is my furry baby’s absolute favorite spot. When we get close to the restaurant, she can barely contain her excitement, whining eagerly as we approach. I genuinely adore their thoughtfully crafted menu for dogs, filled with delicious I'm options that cater to our four-legged friends . I order various enticing meals each time we visit to savor everything they offer. I like to taste something new.

We always love Shorehouse Kitchen in Carlsbad—the food and coffee are great—but this visit was extra special thanks to Dalton, our server. It was his first day, but you’d never know it! He was courteous, prompt, and had a fantastic smile and personality. The ambiance is so nice. We love to sit outside. I had my favorite, the egg white and tofu frittata (so unique and delicious), and my husband enjoyed the LJ burger, which was also excellent. Dalton truly made the experience even better. We'll be back!

Just ate here on a Wednesday morning, arriving at 8:30, and missed any crowd of people. The outdoor patio was a great place to eat on a comfortable April morning. Ambiance was very beachy and very appropriate for this restaurant's location. Our server gave us a warm greeting, provided efficient and knowledgeable assistance in placing orders, and refilled our coffee's at the right times. I saw quite a few favorable reviews online and thought I didn't need to leave a review, but as a lacto-ovo vegetarian I thought about mention for my options could be helpful. I had the Roasted Vegetables and Pistachio Benedict. There were also omelets that I could have, but the Benedict sounded great, and it was! The veggies of the omelet were roasted with a nice texture, and flavored nicely. The pistachio pesto had just enough flavor to add to the dish but not overpower the other flavors. The eggs were were done nicely with a firmly cooked outside, and warm and runny inside just as someone who likes benedict's would want it. The thinly sliced avocado were a great final topping adding that fresh final flavor. If you're a lacto-ovo vegetarian (or for anyone!) this is a great breakfast spot!

We came 2/28/25 This was our first time here and we got the breakfast burrito ( it was smaller than the others I have had in my life time but it was delicious. ( it’s on the menu but you can ask for it and order it . My boyfriend got the BLT and it was fully packed with bacon and made with some nice bread . The service was fast and our waiter was kind and generous. We sat outside and enjoyed the fresh air . The restaurant was nice. Definitely recommend

We only bought coffees to enjoy on the sun-filled patio but after our delightful experience, we will be back for a meal soon. Fantastic service, reasonable prices, and a nice local, Shorehouse is our new Carlsbad spot!
